Published: Wednesday 16th February 2011

For the second year running, projects from across the private, public, voluntary, community and youth sectors in Coventry are being given the opportunity to enter the city's Community Cohesion Awards.

Following the success of last year's awards ceremony, the Coventry Community Cohesion Awards for 2011 have recently been re-launched by Cabinet Member for Corporate and Neighbourhood Services, Cllr Phil Townshend and Saleem Sheikh from Coventry Ethnic Minorities Action Partnership (CEMAP). The awards are currently run by the Equalities and Communities Theme Group of the Coventry Partnership together with CEMAP, whose aim is to promote equal opportunities for all, eliminating racism, hate crime, bullying and all other forms of intolerance.
