Asylum Seekers and Refugees
This needs assessment was instigated by the Asylum Seeker and Refugee Strategic Sub-group of the Children and Young People's Strategic Partnership (CYPSP) in 2008.
The intended outcomes of the audit were to focus on asylum seeking, refugee and newly arrived (ASR&NA) children and young people and to:
Identify areas of unmet need and gaps in service provision
Identify areas of good practice
Identify barriers to access
Make recommendations for practice development and further research.
