Achieving Economic Wellbeing
Home
The strategic partnership continues to focus on increasing the number of young people (aged 16-19 years) into education, employment and training through effective partnership working and directly supporting young people who are not able to gain access to future education, employment or training opportunities.
This is essential to helping all young people achieve their potential and to achieving the aim that by 2015 all 16-18 year olds are engaged in some form of learning.
In the previous year the priorities for the strategic partnership have been as follows:
- Increase the number of school leavers who are in education or employment or training
- Ensure more young people achieve Level 2 qualification or above by age 19
- Improve completion rates for Pathway Plans
