The strategic partnership remains committed to ensuring that all children are able to achieve their highest possible educational attainment through continued support for all children, parents/carers, schools and early years service providers.
By ensuring that schools continue to improve, that inclusion of all children is promoted and by ensuring that children with the most complex needs are given enhanced support, the strategic partnership hopes to see continued improvement of educational attainment for all children at all levels.
In the past year the priorities of the partnership have been:
- To improve educational attainment for all children
- To reduce persistent absence in secondary schools
- Have fewer children excluded from school
- To promote the inclusion of all children in schools and education provision
