In response to a number of accidents and tragic deaths that have taken place in our area, the CSCB have produced this helpful leaflet offering tips and advise on issues such as sleeping arrangements for your child, smoking, when your baby cries and keeping your child at the right temperature. We plan to continue to update this leaflet to ensure we can help give parents and families up to date advice on keeping your baby safe and well.
Child Safety- Parent Guide (Leaflet)
As the CSCB are a 'Responsible Authority' under the Licensing Act 2004, particularly in relation to working with Licensees to protect children from harm, we have produced and distributed a leaflet giving licensees information about what they need to consider when having children and young people visit their premises and how they can ensure this is a safe and comfortable environment for children and young people.

The CSCB think it is very important that we all take responsibility to ensure children and young people are safe in our society, that means everybody has a role to play. Attached is a poster giving information about who you can contact if you are concerned. We have translated it to 11 of the most common languages in Coventry to help spread this information so that everybody knows what to do if they are worried about a child or young person. Why not play your part and print off or contact us for a copy of this poster to display in public areas such as community centres, places of worship and shops.

Internet safety is an area the CSCB are currently working on. We know children and young people can sometimes take risks, which could potentially put them at danger.
