Identifying the needs of asylum seeking, refugee and newly arrived children and young people in Coventry.
This needs assessment was instigated by the Asylum Seeker and Refugee Strategic Sub-group of the Children and Young People’s Strategic Partnership (CYPSP).
The intended outcomes of the audit were to focus on asylum seeking, refugee and newly arrived (ASR&NA) children and young people and to:
• Identify areas of unmet need and gaps in service provision
• Identify areas of good practice
• Identify barriers to access
• Make recommendations for practice development and further research.
